The trailer for N.W.A forthcoming biopic was released yesterday at the Grammy awards ceremony. The video features an introduction from Dr Dre and Ice Cube as well as Kendrick Lamar
Last month we revealed news of a trailer for N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton that was played live at one of Ice Cubes shows. And now we have the full official trailer here which is as much action packed as it is star studded.
Directed by F. Gary Gray, the film include Marcus Callender to play as hip hop’s first billionaire Dre Dre. Eazy-E will be played by Jason Mitchell, best known for his roles in Contraband and Broken City. As for Ice Cube, he will be played by his own real life son O’Shea Jackson Jr.
This film is also shrouded in drama as most recently Suge knight turned up to the production set and murdered one actor and injured training day actor Cle “Bone” Sloane.
Straight Outta Compton will be released on August 14th.
