From its inception in London in 2013, the idea behind Drill Festival has been to bring together the best overview of both classic left field artists and new and emerging cutting edge talent.
Genre-defying evolution is the hallmark of post-punk legends WIRE’s career. Now, nearly forty years into its existence, Wire has begun breathing new life into small, curated festivals. Each is unique in format but all are built on artistic kinship across divergent musical styles, influences, and generations.
Previous events have seen Wire & friends take over Brighton for a weekend, take up residency at London’s The Lexington for 5 nights, curate a stage at Incubate Festival in The Netherlands, and host events in Chicago & Seattle.
Drill is covering ground with their latest string of festivals and are continuing to foster a varied spectrum of left-field acts from all over the world.
