London producer Jon Hopkins has set a date for the release of his forthcoming compilation album as part of a series called ‘Late Night Tales’.
This mix follows on from previous successes with his 2013 record immunity which was shortlisted for the mercury music prize, and 2014 release ‘Asleep Versions’.
His collaborations with pioneers such as Brian Eno, and Coldplay echo a burgeoning desire for him to develop his more ambient and melancholy style of production. This forthcoming release will include work from Holy Other, Gold Panda and Four Tet, signifying a seemingly ambient and delicate collection of sounds.
His forthcoming release on this mix series, will be available from 1st March 2015. You can preorder it here.
