The creators of Game of Thrones have confirmed guitarist Ed Sheeran will appear in the forthcoming series.
News of the cameo appearance for the seventh series came from an announcement made by the show’s creators David Benioff and DB Weiss at SXSW festival in Austin Texas.
“For years, we tried to get Ed Sheeran on the show to surprise Maisie, and this year we finally did it,” Benioff said.
Whilst no further details have been given, Ed Sheeran has prompted confirmation via his Twitter.
