This weekend Quentin Tarantino announced that revered composer Ennio Morricone will be scoring his new years release The Hateful Eight.
At this years Comi Con, Tarantino revealed that his eighth movie will be scored by Morricone. Ennio Morricone’s work has featured in a stint of Tarantino movies including Kill Bill, and most recently Django Unchained, however Morricone’s criticism for Tarantino “placing music in his films without coherence” did seem like a cause for concern. Yet this latest news proves it’s all water under the bridge.

It has been 40 years since Morricone wrote a score. He is best known for his work in countless cult western classics like The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, and A Fistful of Dollars.
