Eddie Redmayne takes home the award for best actor, in his role as Stephen Hawking in the film The Theory of Everything
Two years ago Eddie Redmayne was struck down with food poisining on the night of the BAFTAS and coldn’t make it. It was ‘the worst night of his life’. Now Eddie has just had the best night of his life, crying in tears of joy as his name is announced for the best actor award.
Yesterday, at the 68th British Academy Film Awards Richard Linklater took home an award for his film Boyhood which was a film 12 years in the making, following the life of one single actor. Wes Anderson scooped up a pethora of awards for Grand Budapest, including for best orignial screenplay. And Birdman took home an award for best Cinematography.
