Love Hultèn redesigns two player arcade games into 21st century cabinets.
The Swedish designer and craftsman is known for elegantly mixing modernist design with retro technology to always produce a clean and nostalgic outcome. This time Love Hultèn has created the Pixelkabinett 42, a minimalistic design of a two player arcade game hosted inside a flip up screen cabinet made from walnut. This design holds a significant space theme around it, with a glowing planetarium on the front and saturn shaped speaker grills on the top, although the design and even the game inside can be changed as Love offers custom builds and add ons of your choice. The cabinet can even be modified to host a fully functional modern computer to run any game, a perfect feature for those 60’s themed diners or vintage lover. The Pixelkabinett 42 can be yours for €3,699.00 and considering the quality of the finish and the uniqueness of the design, its money well spent.
