Love Saves The Day Announces New Special Guests

Love Saves The Day news on Cone Magazine

Groove Armada and Roni Size Reprazent have been announced as headliners for Bristol’s Love Saves The Day festival on May 23 and 24.

The chart-topping dance duo will be headlining Love Saves The Day on Saturday and the legendary Bristolian live drum and bass collective will be playing the main stage on Sunday.

Both acts need no introduction with Reprazent being responsible for the seminal debut album New Forms, which won the Mercury Prize in 1997. Groove Armada achieved critical and commercial success with a number of big releases, most notably the early 2000s anthem ‘Superstylin’.

The latest announcement supports an already impressive roster of headline acts, which includes local house star Julio Bashmore, reggae roots hero David Rodigan and Cone Magazine favourites Floating Points and Four Tet.

Other confirmed highlights include Dark Sky, Leon Vynehall, Wiley, Skepta and Grandmaster Flash as well as local legends Pinch, Joker and Jus Now.

The Bristol-based two-day event will take place in its new home at Eastville Park on the 23 and 24 May 2015.

Tickets are still available from the official website.
