The ever-popular London festival has announced the latest acts to join its lineup this year.
Saturday boasts an impressive roster of DJs and live artists who will mostly have people grooving to a mix of forward-thinking house, techno and hip hop. New additions include Cashmere Cat, Klaves and Hooton Tennis Club. They’ll join Caribou, Madlib, Floating Points, Shanti Celeste, fad-du-jour FKA Twigs and many others.
Future Brown will perform a live set, as well as New York rap crew Ratking who recently released their latest album 700 fill as a free download from Bittorrent.
Sunday’s focus will be on live acts and bands, with new artists Cairobi and Errors, amongst others, joining Savages, Mac DeMarco, DIIV and, again, many more. We’re excited about Patti Smith, queen of punk, who will be treating everyone to an entire performance of her seminal album Horses.
Now in its ninth edition, Field Day will return to Victoria Park on the 6th and 7th of June. More info and tickets here.
