Dimensions Festival has announced that this year’s odyssey will begin with live performances from Floating Points, Four Tet and Little Dragon.
The unique live event will return to the magnificent 2000-year old Roman amphitheatre in the Croatian coastal city of Pula on Wednesday 26th of August.
The opening concert features two of the world’s most exciting producers performing on the same night; with Four Tet playing a rare live set and Floating Points performing a selection of new compositions backed by a group of musicians. Acclaimed Swedish group Little Dragon are also set to provide an interesting musical spectrum running through soul, jazz, electronic and dance.
Boiler Room is returning to broadcast the show. The website’s editor, Gabriel Szatan described last year’s show with Caribou and Darkside as “quite simply, one of the finest all-round sessions in Boiler Room’s history”.
Dimensions festival 2015 will be four days of live music and top-tier DJs playing amid the abandoned fortress of Punta Christo on a peninsula overlooking the glistening Adriatic.
The festival organisers recently announced the first wave of confirmed artists with Moodymann, Mount Kimbie, Ben Klock, Lil Louis, John Talabot, Surgeon, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Truncate, Hessle Audio: Ben UFO, Pearson Sound, Pangaea, and Anthony Parasole alongside many others.
The Dimensions opening concert is on Wednesday 26th August 2015 and the festival itself is Thursday 27th through to Sunday 30th. Tickets for each event are available through the official website.
