In just a few days time thousands will flock from far and wide onto Amsterdam city for this years Dekmantel Festival.
And in the run up to the event, Dekmantel and Grolsch have teamed up to produce the latest episode in the Selectors series, uncovering interesting stories from the music industry. For this episode a light is shone on one of our favourite radio stations Red Light radio.
The station, which broadcasts from the heart of the red light district, has a fantastic programme. Unlike other stations, Red Light Radio doesn’t try to be too edgy and you can tune in any day of the week and usually be greeted with light hearted or accessible record selections.
The documentary draws focus upon both aspects of Red Light from their record store to the station itself, coupled with interviews from DJ hosts as well as the station founder Orpheu De Jong.
