Following the success of American Crime Story: The People v O J Simpson, a whole 12 hours of original footage from his trial will be aired on TV.
Esquire’s cable network will broadcast the marathon viewing on April 3rd, drawing upon archive footage from 1994 including the infamous glove test footage (see above). A finale will be aired on April 5th.
With the success of Making a Murderer, it seems that TV series’ based on noteworthy law cases from the past are becoming a whole category of their own.
