Sara Lov releases third album ‘Some Kind Of Champion’

Sara Lov Some Kind Of Champion /\ Cone Magazine

Known perhaps more as the former of 90’s indie rock band Devics (Bella Union), Sara Lov has joined up with fellow band mate Dustin O’Halloran, among many others, to complete her third album ‘Some Kind Of Champion’.

O’Halloran has since gone on to have quite the fruitful career, adapting his celebrated pianist compositions to film and scoring ballet for ‘A Winged Victory For The Sullen’ in the process.

Upon immediate listen it’s easy to tell that Lov carries a sensitivity in her words. More obvious still is that escapism surely isn’t just something you experience when breathing in her self-realisation: “never as good as you thought it’d be when you get there”. It’s clearly an integral component of the music itself.

‘Some Kind Of Champion’, released 30th October, is fully immersive, full of stories, cinematic compositions, passion and emotion and that will draw you in and keep you there.
