Founding member of Micachu and The Shapes, Mica Levi has been busy these past few months.
Releasing her well received score for Jonathan Glazer’s 2014 film Under The Skin, and later putting out her Feeling Romantic Feeling Tropical Feeling Ill mixtape, Mica Levi now returns for her next project.
A curator of pop & avant garde sound structure, Mica Levi is set to hold a residency at The Cube Cinema with her consistently oxymora titled Good Sad Happy Bad. The title is actually a new incarnation of Micachu & The Shapes.
For three days, Mica Levi and collaborators Raisa Khan and Marc Pell will put on performances and exhibitions in Bristols Microplex.
Cube Cinema is an intimate and unique venue. The non profit cooperative is a 108 seater cinema with bar, that plays host to some of the most striking and experimental art projects. Tickets are available through the cube cinema website
For the first two days expect dj’s, video footage and karaoke, followed by a performance from the band on the final day.
