One half of Irish duo Lakker, Eomac will be releasing the new album in April 2018.
It was back in May 2016 I had the chance of sitting down with Ian McDonnell and his production partner to discuss their Struggle & Emerge LP (below). And Ian’s solo project with Reconnect, again focusses on a geographical context (the aforementioned being Holland) this time looking at “traditional Irish music, Haitian voodoo drumming, the raw old-school jungle of Source Direct and the abstract rhythms of Autechre”.
In the run up to release, their will also be a three track EP ‘Resist All Dogma’, which is due out on March 9th. You can listen to the title track below.
