Kevin Drew and his epic musical cohort are returning to Europe this year, as well as releasing their fifth full-length studio record as Broken Social Scene.
Making an explosive return to the live arena in UK last year, with “bruised, beautiful and chaotically epic” shows at Electric Picnic, Festival No. 6 and End Of The Road, this Canadian musical collective return for a string of dates in late May and early June.
They will kick off in the UK with shows at the Albert Hall in Manchester and London’s Brixton Academy, then head to Europe for a number of dates culminating in a much-anticipated slot at the Primavera festival.
Tickets for Manchester, London, Antwerp and Amsterdam go on-sale at 9am on Friday (24th Feb), and for Paris at 9am on Wednesday (22nd Feb), available from the band’s website.
TOUR DATES:
Broken Social Scene was founded in Toronto, 2002, by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning and quickly grew to include an assortment of musical friends. They were instantly an engaging and energetic entity: their albums were cinematic, with splashes of concept and melody, and their live performances were notoriously epic, cathartic affairs that sometimes lasted over three hours.
