Thunder Announce Headliners For This Season’s Parties at Dance Tunnel

The people behind Thunder have announced the acts that it’ll play host to this season at Dalston’s Dance Tunnel.

Thunder describes itself as an underground house night, but in reality the DJs at its parties cast a wide net, encompassing house, tech, disco, funk, soul, hip hop… you know the drill!

The night prides itself on intimacy and a stripped back formula – a mere 220 capacity, smoke machine, red light, and quality music. Thunder’s policy is to carefully curate a single headliner for each event and have residents Miles Simpson and Joseph Apted act as support.

Festivities kick off on the 17th April with Andres gracing the decks. Berlin resident Hunee will follow on the 19th June, and Thunder’s fourth birthday party on the 11th September will be hosted by Chicago house figurehead Derrick Carter, who will play a sweet 4-hour set.

The final party of the season will be on the 20th November. Thunder organisers are yet to announce the headliner but we’re assured they have something special up their sleeve.

Also catch Thunder residents at festivals across the UK and Croatia this summer including Electric Elephant, FARR, Field Maneuvers and Bestival.

We’ve attached some mixes below for you to whet your appetites with. They’re a bit old now, still bangin’!
