Danish pop group Laid Back released Keep Smiling back in 1983. A pop classic filled with heart warming records like ‘Sunshine Reggae’ and ‘Don’t Be Mean’.
It is however ‘Fly Away/ Walking in the Sunshine’ that features in our Nostalgia section for its ultra slick, Californian summer day vibes and slow groove. Imagine yourself kicking back there, hand on a pina colada, pool party going on in the background, shades on and feeling like a fucking dude.
Los Angeles based daytime disco duo Poolside even remixed this track back in 2012.
